T: Good question on "where are we all staying"...
Even though I'm only 3hrs from the Meet to home, I'm staying over; I think I might be having a few bevs and I don't need to drive home in the dark, lol.

Here's a link to a couple motels, close by, to the Meet: a Super8 and a Budget...not the RitzCarlton, but I don't care, my eyes are closed.

Unless Juan K has better suggestions, I'm gonna hook a room in one of those. Only 4-5 miles from the Meet.
NEother Ideas out there in post'emUp land?

I'll be heading down from New Hampshire either early AM on the 21th or afternoon on the 20th via MA, CT, NYC, PA, DC ....

My current plan is to stay at the The Ballantyne Resort near Charlotte
(can stay for free on points ) until Monday. I am still interested
in visiting the BMW factory on Monday the 24th and I wonder how many folks would like to come along ?

Thanks 4 the link, i'm planning on getting a room in the next 24 to 48 hours. I rerally don't care about about the way it looks cause i'm not planning to stay indoors anyway. So if the guys deciced on when to leave the DC area, i'll probably get on for Fri and Sat.

I have to work Friday night, so I won't be able to leave until EARLY Saturday morning. I thought I could grasp at taking time off Friday, not the case.

My plan is to head towards Charlotte by 6am Saturday and arrive between 1 and 2pm at Juan's.

Be glad to join up with any other members from the Northeast and DC area. Cheap gas just 40 miles south of DC in Fredericksburg at Wawa!

You guys should consider this very nice Hilton hotel, which is a 10 minute drive SOUTH of me. (I'm off exit 88 off I-77; this hotel is on exit 79. Detailed directions to our Meet's location are forthcoming). This is a very nice Hilton in a nice area in Rock Hill (itself not a nice town, but this is a nice area).
