haha yeah, good point ... although, i dunno :shrug: maybe i'm getting old at 26 lol but if there's one thing my x5 4.4 has made me realize, it's that there's a lot to be said about sportiness *WITH* comfort/luxury/good looks ... hence my recent infatuation with, e.g., the CLS55 AMG ... it's really the best of ALL worlds ... that said, I'm *REALLY* hoping BMW can pull off this new M3 ... i WANT to love it, really, i do! :) kinda like the new M5 ...

Speaking of the M5, funny coincidence: i was having dinner with three of my friends on Sunset Blvd a few months ago -- at that french restaurant Le Petit Four -- and we were talking about the new M5 (and two of the friends were girls lol) and how we wanted so much to love it, but just couldn't ... and then, as though on queue, we hear this earth-shattering scream and as I turn to find the source of the dying banshee, my brain had already ruled out any ferrari, lambo, or any other exotic ...

and then my eyes saw it: a black M5 -- with aftermarket exhaust -- and my heart just stopped. it literally knocked the wind out of me.

point? i guess we'll have to wait and see :)

Wow. Now thats a coincidence. M motors are awesome. Probably the best high performance engines out there. They are tough to match.

These were posted on bimmerforums and e90post.com as well... think they were saying the blue one is the new 3-series coupe or the new 335 coming out.
