The coming of age daughter wants a yellow M5 convertible. CEO is telling Nupe to get it done. I guess the man card must have gotten lost a long time ago.

There are some simple facts that the daughter obviously does not understand besides the fact that a yellow M5 convertible is a pipe dream. Even if she got a bone stock run of the mill M5 (sorry Josh), there is hell to pay for a 16 year old adolescent, especially in this great metropolis known as the City of the Angels.

It's more like the city of the carjackers, jealous vandals, and regular old thieves. Unless you're willing to pay the price, you don't put your kid in a threatening situation in this town. Somebody will want to separate your daughter from her $100,000 car.

Take it from a dad who has 3 teenagers growing up in the city of L.A. You are buying your daughter an image that others will judge her by. Some will take exception to this image. She is friggin' 16 years old - not 20. She can't fend for herself yet. Unless you have Kato (the Green Hornet Kato, not Caelin) driving her around, I sure as hell wouldn't do it.

Everybody wants to see the picture of the convertible M5. What I don't want to see is an obituary.

I wonder what the status of this project is today? A yellow M5 convertible for a 16 year old? He needs to let us know what he is smoking because that stuff sure as hell doesn't miss its effect.

I can't wait for the new post were he is telling us that his daughter wants to get married but that she wants a 70 year old she male with acne and lots of wrinkled skin starting from the neck up and 3 giant boobs. Shouldn't be a problem these days, plenty of plastic surgeons around to fix that. Right? Money can buy everything.

This thread immediately came to mind when I read about the kids in the M5 that got killed due to the immaturity of the driver. Just because you could give your kid an M5 doesn't mean you should.

I hope she's happy and safe in whatever car she got.
