Congrats! From what I have seen and heard you made an excellent choice and will not be disappointed in the least bit with your choice. I happen to think the coupe is one of the hottest vehicles on the road today.

I am having a hard time getting a production number from my dealer, they said it can take a couple weeks. I am thinking BS but I'll give him a few more days and I'll start bitching. I dont want my spot to be sold to the highest bidder and get bumped back. I never know what think when people on other forums say the got 500 over invoice on the car and got a production number the same day.

Will BMWNA give it to you?

On Monday I think I'll see what more info I can learn on this subject

once the dealer puts the order in the system they will have a production number. sounds to me like they are holding it for some reason. did u ask to delay delivery? or maybe they're holding out b/c they don't have an open allocation for a while.

I got my production number the day my order was input so something sounds weird.

I checked with BMWNA on this and they claim because of the holidays the numbers are delayed. The dealer said they has no January build dates up front but I was assured mid Feb, I just want the number so I dont get jacked around.

Nice choice! I was very impressed with my test drive of an E92 335i 6MT. It was Space Gray with Coral Red and was very striking. With a black exterior it will certainly pop. Butch it up a little with tints and maybe some 19" wheels and it will look that much nicer.

Now the wait begins....

No regrets with my E90 330i even though I had a guy in an E90 335i try to show off by pulling up next to me and matched my speed, then gunning it, then slowing down. I just gave him a facetious :thumbup: and smiled. I think he was jealous of my Blackline rear lights. ;)
