Just pulled the trigger on a new car... It is a ...
MAN was it hard to decide between the Cayman S, Z4 MCoupe, Z06 Vette and 335i Coupe. It came down to …
1) Practical as a daily 2) Availability of a GOOD automatic because my wife cant drive a stick 3) Color, Yes this car was going to be Black with Red interior if I could make it happen 4) Bang for the buck 1) Winner was 335i Coupe 2) Winner was 335i Coupe 3) Winner was Z4 MCoupe and 335i Coupe 4) Winner was the Vette Cayman won the emotional contest but I have to keep my perspective on reality. So I just ordered my 335i Coupe for February build only managed to get 1K off MSRP. I called and e-mailed a lot of dealers and they are all giving 500 off. Even with the promise of a 5K non refundable down payment they were not moving. Lots of people claim to have got as much as 2k off and in one case 588 over invoice. I could not put that deal together unless it was a ED and I am not doing that. |
Congrats, I would have gone the same route:thumbup:

Congrats - right choice

excellent choice!!! i've had mine for 1 month now and still can't wait to drive it again. depending on where you live, there's very little price flexibility right now since the car just hit the market. I only was able to get $1k off msrp and that was a May pre-order before they hit the steets. IMO most folks who say they got something closer to invoice vs msrp are lying (unless the went ED). Enjoy your ride and let the mods begin!
BTW - I'd recommend doing PCD in Spartanburg if you can. It was a blast! |
 , congratz.
