As I said this is a non-BMW CGI. We have not seen BMW's version. I will wait to see their version before I say they have copied MB cls.

Its a Computer Generated Image(CGI) by some auto-journalist/magazine on what they think it will look like.

Historically Huckfeldt from Autobild has been more close in his guesses but only when its close to launch.

Huckfeldt's guess:

 Looks cool and sporty. Sure looks like MB CLS. Is this 2008 5 series? when will this be available?

Thanks for the pics. The front lights look like the E92 and the back like MB CLS. The back of the CGI does look like the one that Huckfeldt predicts. It seems that a lot of people are saying the Huckfeldt's drawing is a pretty accurate prediction of the actual vehicle.

This is 2010 model available in late 2009. Code is F10.

Current 5-series facelift was announced in January and will be in showroom late March-early April.

Thanks!
I bet this will be modified by then.

Anyone have any updates on this? I'm finding things talking about a 2008 release (model year 2009), others saying 2009 (model year 2010), etc...
