BMW Assist renewal

My BMW Assist Safety Plan for my E90 is expiring in June and I need to renew. It's $199 for the year and I don't think I'm going to do it. Can anyone suggest why it would be worth it?

Not worth it, unless you spend a lot of time on road. I thought 2007=+ BMWs had free Assist for 4 years. Is yours not 2007?

I don't know. Without it can you still call the 800 number and get help?

How many times have you used it within the last year? Let that number justify the cost.

Isn't it usually when you don't have it that you need it. Being able to press a button and get help if necessary justifies it for me.

That's me though. You guys may feel differently but for a woman traveling alone it is peace of mind.

:iagree: But if you are James Bond then I don't think it does much. :)

I'm thinking if you have BMW Roadside Assistance a cell phone, you're all set for emergency type situations. (assuming you have NAV).

BMW Assist is commonly used for restaurant reservations/concert tickets and the like. It is somewhat of a concierge service, isn't it?

He has a E90 330i sedan...it is a 2006 Model Year. In 2007, the 335i came out.

Well, the only advantage for BMW Assist for you is that if you or anyone who is driving the 330i gets into a bad accident that activates the airbag, the BMW Assist would automatically called EMS to your location.

It is your call.
