BMW Assist renewal

My BMW Assist Safety Plan for my E90 is expiring in June and I need to renew. It's $199 for the year and I don't think I'm going to do it. Can anyone suggest why it would be worth it?

Not worth it, unless you spend a lot of time on road. I thought 2007=+ BMWs had free Assist for 4 years. Is yours not 2007?

I don't know. Without it can you still call the 800 number and get help?

He has a E90 330i sedan...it is a 2006 Model Year. In 2007, the 335i came out.

That's just it. I haven't used it once. Well, once but that was to register it when I just got the car.

It is your call.
That's the only reason I am even considering it but I am not too worried about that happening and certainly not in a secluded area where no one would around to call it in.

Yup. BMW changed it right after I got mine. I'm coming up on the 1 year anniversary as I took delivery on June 7, 2006. 7800 miles and counting.

I got my a day earlier though, knock on wood

Idk, I'd do it for those things, and like BB said, its generally when you don't have it that you actually need it. gl with your decision.

How many times have you used it within the last year? Let that number justify the cost.

Isn't it usually when you don't have it that you need it. Being able to press a button and get help if necessary justifies it for me.

That's me though. You guys may feel differently but for a woman traveling alone it is peace of mind.
