Alpina B3 biturbo

BMW tuner, Alpina, today unleashed their latest creation, the Alpina B3 BiTurbo. Taking the BMW 335i’s already powerful 3.0 liter, twin-turbo, 6-cylinder engine, that develops 300 horsepower, and fitting it with direct injection technology, Alpina gave the car an increase of 60 totaling to 330 horsepower. The B3 Bi-Turbo’s engine has a sporty engine’s willingness to rev to 7,000 rpm with a 0-62 mph time of 4.9 seconds. Oh yeah and it’s damn good looking.

^ why buy the M3 at that point (1/10 of a second slower then the M3)

Damn that's sick, the wheels are OK at best

this post seems wrong. It says that alpina took the 335 motor and added direct injection and 60hp.

The 335 already has direct injection and comes with 300hp stock. The alpina only has 330hp. And the 335s are already doing 4.9 0to 60s stock.

I dont get it. Where did this info come from?
Plus those wheels are form the 80s and the front lip doesnt look good.

335 doesn't do 4.9 to 60.....not unless you're a track driver. If it did, BMW wouldn't market it at 5.3/5.5. And this is 0-62 in 4.9.

Oh so it does make 360hp.

Whats the big deal though you can get vishnus procede for just over a grand and make more than that.
By the way I know BMW states the 335 gets to 60 in the mid 5s but i still think its as fast as my E46 M3. No dought. And the E46 gets to 60 in 4.8. Although my M3 would take it over 100mph

I can't remember which but either CD or Road & Track had the 335i coupe in the high 4s when they had a tester at the end of last year, a lot less than what BMW says.
