Alpina B3 biturbo
^ why buy the M3 at that point (1/10 of a second slower then the M3)

this post seems wrong. It says that alpina took the 335 motor and added direct injection and 60hp.
The 335 already has direct injection and comes with 300hp stock. The alpina only has 330hp. And the 335s are already doing 4.9 0to 60s stock. I dont get it. Where did this info come from? Plus those wheels are form the 80s and the front lip doesnt look good.

335 doesn't do 4.9 to 60.....not unless you're a track driver. If it did, BMW wouldn't market it at 5.3/5.5. And this is 0-62 in 4.9.

I can't remember which but either CD or Road & Track had the 335i coupe in the high 4s when they had a tester at the end of last year, a lot less than what BMW says.
