I apologize.
A while back I said I didn't see a M5 wagon in the future, I was VERY wrong.

WHY? Is there really a market for a v10 station wagon?
|
I didn't think so, but I guess BMW does. I noticed it in this weeks Roundel and checked it out online.

Talk about making the kiddies in the back carsick...I can see getting home from Lowes with potting soil bermed up against the windows. This would make me throw rocks at my old V70R...

...M5 wagon, (oh, I forgot; 'touring'), is the answer to a question that no one has asked. They will sell like...McLarens here in the states. |
I seriously doubt BMW will bring it over. They're already reluctant to bring us the normal 535xiT. Plus, a high-revving, modest-torque, 7-SMG, V10 sport wagon doesn't bode well for hauling stuff.
Oh man, I would bust my guts laughing if I saw/heard a M5 touring racing past me at 7500rpm, tailgate window open with potted flowers and soil spilling out. |
Wait till ///M3 touring hits the streets.
Guess that proves you don't read my posts. :saad: 2008 5-series facelift + M5 touring pics and official release |

The E-class AMG wagons are actually pretty common where I live, someone in my neighborhood actually has a canary yellow one. |
