08 550i vs 07 RS4
 

Which one do you think is a better choice? 08 550i sport or 07 audi RS4?

Ah, two different types of cars. RS4 is an awesome street/track car with 420hp, where the 550 is just a sports sedan with 360hp.

RS4 posts a zero-sixty in the mid 4's, the 550 can't break 5.0 seconds. The 550 is larger, but doesn't have AWD as the Audi does. As I said, two different cars.

They're different beings. It's better to compare the A6 4.2 to the 550i.

The 5 is a comfortable yet athletic luxury sedan. The RS4 is an M3 competitor.

:iagree: with Wagner. Which is the better choice? Depends on what you're looking for. I haven't driven an RS4 but I would imagine it's a little on the extreme side whereas the 550 is a very comfortable car with plenty of power. I especially like it with the Sport Package.

side note, Audi dealer I dealt with in MD was such a d__k. A while back I went out to test drive a RS4, he told me I wasn't allowed..... :tsk:

which one? Was it FSK in Frederick? They wouldn't let us test drive a '08 A4 2.0T because "it had just arrived and wasn't prepped for test drives yet". They wanted to take us out in a CPO A4. :throw:

Ha, ha, must be a worldwide thing. I went to the largest dealer over here and they wouldn't let me test drive the Q7:confused:

I've had 1 good experience at an Audi dealer, when the S4 first came out I wanted to pick one up so I went and they let me drive it, I was not 100% sure so I went to the benz dealer to look at the c55 and bmw dealer for the m3 and the volvo for the s60r, but when I went back to the audi dealer to look once more, the guy I dealt with had "left" and I was treated like crap from then on out. So then I went to the BMW dealer and was about to lay down the money for a M3, but saw the X5 4.8is on the turn table and changed my mind instantly. Long story short, you treat a customer who is willing to buy that moment like crap, you will never see them again / no brand loyalty either.

sorry, I prefer the 550i sport package, the audi sounds nice, but pull up to your country club in a boy-racer audi and you look like douche.

:confused: did he mention something about trying to impress others with his purchase?
