It may only come on the 650i...it's right behind the shifter. It tightens the steering and gives you a much quicker shift.....Phil

This became a standard feature on the 650i in 06. The only exception was you didn't get it if you ordered active steering. It's a very nice addition to a already well tuned machine......Phil

My 645 has the sport button and active steering. What Phil said is right, it does pretty much the same behavior change the E46 M3 had with the sport button on.

Follow the crappy red arrow :) that is where the sport button is.

Wags, you have the button and active steering? I guess the info I read was incorrect unless that was a change in 06.....Phil
