We got it back, spent $900 in repairs and only half of the errors are fixed.
The battery got replaced, and it cost $310 with my dad unknowingly accepting it when it would've been half the price if we bought one and installed on our own. Then the half shaft boot (?) or similar got replaced, something we couldn't do, and cost another $600 along with recalibrating the steering angle sensor for our ABS, DSC and Brake error message. The mirror issue would need the replacement of some big control module, which my dad decided not to have replaced. All in all, we spent around $900 in out-of-warranty repairs, but also had soome in-warranty repairs. I'm still not happy about the mirrors, as I have OCD on everything not working perfectly, but it isn't my car nor money. |

Our fault this time :( We were changing lanes and the guy in front braked, we clipped him as we were accelerating. We're going to hold off repairs until we get our new X5. Nothing serious, just a cracked lens and minor bodywork. |
When you say "we" do you mean you or someone else?
|
That may need a new fender.
|
I mean "we" as I'm not old enough to drive and that my parent was driving.

That Honda Civic took the hit really well, I'm surprised.
