I purchased a smoked out 3m kit off ebay. They make them prefitted for the headlights.

I was just going to line it up on the headlight, take a razor, and cut out everything besides corners.

Yep - :iagree: that looks like the Mtech lip. It needs to be lowered a little bit more and it would be perfect.:thumbup:

I wouldn't lower it any more... in fact I might raise it a hair. Lower /= better.

I wouldn't mess with any DIY cut kits. It's a major PITA. I got my pre-cut smoked film for my E90 from a guy on E90post.com. I can look up his e-mail info if you like. Send me a PM. It's been very durable so far and looks great. It's not as dark as the car in the OP's post. It's a more subtle but still dark smoke.
