repair rear sun blind
guys.....
my baby brock the rear sun blind yesterday :( looked into the OEM parts catalog and its costs around $240 DAAAM!!:wow: any idea how to fix that i tried the most powerful glow :thumbup: but again it was broken... :stickpokeany idea how to fix that?:confused: only the upper frame is broken from one side and its really doesnt worth it to pay $240 just to repaid that!! :dunno: |

See if you can access some .016 stainless steel flat stock and cut a piece that is longer than the section that was broken. Cut and file out the hole to match what is not broken on the other side. Then, use 3M structural epoxy and attach the piece to the plastic upper frame. It should still be thin enough that it will go back inside the door when retracted. Wish you were closer, I could make one of these in 1/2 hour for you.
