Everything you said is correct. Down to the example of Xi Jingping.

But I don't think Trump is any more different than Xi Jingping.

And I don't think his actions this week is merely "embarrassing".

Every dictator starts small. They continue to test the boundaries of what is tolerable and later on accepted by its citizens. And pretty soon you have a situation where you find yourself not recognizing the society you live in anymore.

These past 4 years we've been gradually conditioned to accept more and more outrageous things being said and done by this administration.

And it's really doing far more damage to our democracy than it appears on the surface.

So as of this moment Biden has not won.

See Article 2 Section 1 of the Constitution plus the 12th and the 23rd amendments.

As for firing of Esper Trump's term ends on the 20th of January (unless reelected) and by the powers granted to the POTUS, he can exercise those powers until 11:59am on the 20th of January.

A classic dictator move is what Xi Jinping did and proclaimed himself "President for Life" I have dealt with actual dictators and Trump in no way meets any kind of honest criteria of a dictator.

You either trust our system or you don't, but whichever it is please apply it across the board. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...0d626a517e.jpg

Fact checking votes is clearly within either candidate's rights.

But it is a first time in the history of this country where a presidential candidate continues to cast doubt on the integrity of the voting process. Alleging massive voter fraud without any proof.

This is a recurring theme with him. in 2016 he claimed the same voter fraud and started an investigation after he got elected.

The person he appointed to do the investigation found 9 instances of voter fraud. 3 were dismissed. Out of the remainder 6 cases, they found both republican and democat voters.

That is a big waste of taxpayers money to say the least.

And 4 years later he again claims voter fraud, this time demanding either recounts or investigations into multiple state's ballot results.

I don't know how you guys think this isn't a slap on the face of the hard working and honorable election volunteers.

To claim that many of these volunteers are somehow willing participants into a massive conspiracy to taint the election results to favor Biden when there are not one single proof of such occurrance.

Optics is everything.

Such crying and whining and going along with the crybaby's demand to investigate wrong doing when you have no proof?

I just think it's laughable that we're allowing such disgrace to happen in front of us.

I think you are as involved in hating Trump as his fanatic supporters are in backing him.

There have been a few disputed presidential elections in the past where intervention by Congress or other powers that be get involved.

Politics is corrupt. Nothing is different now, except that we are talking about Trump. Embarrassment in politics is nothing new. See Bill Clinton, Richard Nixon, Anthony Weiner, Epstein (still pissed that story just got swept under the rug), and this list could keep going for 2 or 3 pages I'm sure.

Just relax, the election is over. Let all of this play out and with any luck we will be rid of the Cheetoh in Chief by Jan 20.

BTW, if legitimate fraud is found, and it somehow makes up the difference in Trump's favor, he should remain POTUS. I don't think that is likely to happen, but if it does... that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Hate is too strong of a word. Let's just say I resent having a character like him as our president.

I really couldn't care less if he wasn't our president.

But yeah, let the chips fall where they may. Let them investigate, waste more of taxpayer's money, and more than likely embarrass themselves in the process.

Just don't turn it into a full fledged coup detat.

Fair enough. I do too, but I feel that way about most politicians as of 8 years ago. I've detested Trump since long before he was POTUS though. :dunno:

Amen.

In the meantime, I'll keep doing what the rest of the average citizens in the country seem to be doing more of these days. :drinking:

One of the most sought-after items during this trying time is home fitness equipment.

I myself have acquired some basic weight training tools to help maintain my youthful appearance (LOL).

But all kidding aside, i've actually managed to lose about 10 pounds and gained some pectoral muscle.

Getting fit is one of the few positive things I can claim during this trying time.

crystalworks 11-12-2020 10:16 PM

I lost 13lbs in about 3 months. After that I put on about 20. It's muscle though. Been working out religiously for about 7 months now. All body weight stuff, pushups and pullups primarily. Up to 300 pushups and 80 pull-ups alternating days. Done almost zero cardio though. Couple tennis sessions and that's it. My back can't take the impact anymore.

Unfortunately I still eat and drink in the manner of my German heritage. So... A lot.

Maruzo 11-12-2020 11:29 PM

Eating and drinking is fine as long as you do enough exercise to burn off the nutrient.

But that many push up and pull ups? I am envious of your fine form.

I do 3 sets of bench press, ab core exercise, and plank daily. That’s 9 sets each day and it keeps up my metabolism enough that my digestive tract is working well again.

5-6 sets of doubles tennis on the weekend, great cardio without the boring treadmill.

30 laps on the backyard pool until 2 weeks ago. The sun just doesn’t heat up the pool enough after October.

All these work and I still can’t get the 6 packs I’ve been dreaming about. But at least I look good in a tight t shirt now. :D

Morning Crystal. How do you gain more muscle than fat when you put on that 20 lbs?

Isn't that what they call body building?

After I lost those 10 lbs i've been gaining and losing 3~4 lbs every other week depending on whether I bing eat or not.

My friend called my diet "yoyo dieting" which seem a bit harsh but my goal is to lose 15 lbs altogether while getting those 6 packs.

So far my daily workout seems insufficient to reach that goal. :(

As for your back, my wife's masseus gave me 2 yoga type exercise to do that helped my back pain tremendously. I don't know if it's because my injury were very minor or if those 2 exercises really worked, but here they are:

1. lie down flat on your back and curl up your calf and knee so the back of your heel almost touches your buttock. Make sure both your feet are planted on the ground. Lay both your hands on each side. Then you do a pelvic thrust directly towards the sky, slowly so you don't hurt anything. All the way up til your groin area has reached as high as you can. Keeping both your feet tiptoe on the ground. Then you slowly back down your body into the initial position. Do this slowly but fully for 6 reps. Do 3 sets per day.

2. Lie down flat on your back, and curl up both your legs. Try reaching both your hands around your calves and secure that curl with your fingers interlocking with each hand. Now slowly turn your whole body sideways towards the left. All the way to the left, then slowly rotate your whole body towards the right. Do 6 complete reps slowly but fully and do 3 sets per day.

I have a hard time reaching both my hands around my legs, so I just kinda grabbed each calve with my hands and rotate that way. Minor change but the workout is roughly the same.

Make sure you have good padding under your body. I use those really thick yoga mats, not the thin ones.

Good luck!
