There are a lot of people that have been an executive of a city and state.
But that doesn't give them any qualifications regarding their ability to be President of the USA. Honestly if you know anything about executive government experience you wouldn't even make that statement. Be that as it may it's an endless argument you can't win with respect to Ms. Palin. I believe she has made herself clear to anyone who listens to her. But if you want her for your vice president, who am i to get in the way of your wishes. Wish you the best with your choice........... Quote:

I simply make a correct assessment, whether you choose to believe it or not is up to you. Obama has no executive govt experience. Point blank. And FYI, I've worked with exec govt groups for over 8 years. Again, arguing experience is not in the best interest of the DEMs if they wish to win. |
I guess your right "this post is beneath me. I didn't run out of material. I got side-tracked trying to fix the access to my internet service.
Besides what do you expect from a geezer???? I believe the point is that there are a number of people in this world who don't have the practical experience regarding a specific job but instead have in-born wisdom to step up to the plate and get it done. Weather the forces to be can get out of the way is another question but in my mind even if a person demonstrates great wisdom regarding any task there will always be some who will be envious of that persons ability and will be waiting in the wings to throw a monkey wrench in the works. Perhaps 3/4 of the people around here would have been wise enough to never have made the dumb mistakes GWB has. I mean some of this stuff is not rocket science but some folks could have explained it to him if he would have just asked. In the case of GWB it appears that if he's smart it hasn't translated into positive wise action. And if you listen to him and he even partly thinks the way he speaks then it explains a lot. So I have to agree that experience isn't the criteria all the time although it can be important. The most important asset is knowledge and the wise application of that knowledge coupled with using the personal resources that surround you to get the job done. So to me the question we might ponder is; Who is it that really has the knowledge and the wisdom to do this job? Since i don't personally know either of them i cannot say. But i do believe that if we listen carefully we just might be able to hear the way these people think. |

I agree with you. That is why I positioned against the "experience" lines. Just a waste of time to debate, as it is pretty cut and dry. |
