McCain's Rolling the dice.

And so are his buddies. Here's at least one opinion.

A small percentage of folks (McCain's group) have other ideas about what they want they want to do and He's hoping to have some sort of part in it all. Instead Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Connecticut, who also attended the meeting, said Thursday that the meeting was contentious and blasted what he calls McCain's inaction.

"I'm not quite sure what John McCain said at the meeting. He said something. ... He had no indication he was for any particular plans. I don't know where he is on all of this," Dodd said.

The whole thing is insanity, being decided by two men (Tres/Fed) that will not be employed in 6 weeks.

Does Obama not understand he is a SENATOR first and PRES CANDIDATE second??

"Here’s my observation and I think this may have been confirmed at the meeting today -- when you inject presidential politics into delicate negotiations, sometimes it’s not helpful. The cameras change things,” Obama told FOX News. “It's not clear to me that having presidential candidates in a high-profile way in the negotiating process is useful.”

I think that should be directed at Senator McCain.

Should be directed towards both of them. They are both Senators.
