[QUOTE=chile1;690088]So I guess we should impeach Obama, huh......

Hell, he wasn't even born in the USA, and is probably one of those, you know... "árabs", right./QUOTE]

Wow. This post really didn't have anything to do with anything we are talking about. What I posted wasn't fabricated or exaggerated. Not sure what you meant with the last part of this post. :dunno: You are wasting power brother. The lights are on, but you're not home. Just FYI, you are as far left as the people on the right that you complain about.

I think that a large % of the people on this board are Republican and they don't like Obama because he is a liberal Democrat.

The OP is "So what did you all think" about Obama wining the Nobel Peace Prize.
And somehow you manage to stick in a comment about Acorn to try to discredit this achievement.

So I guess the OP was about Acorn, huh...........

you guys crack me up. You say things like "It's Bush's fault!!!!" (post #13), trying to be cutesy and then you don't like it when I throw cutesy things back at cha like, "So I guess we should impeach Obama".

Fair and balanced, yeah right…..:bustingup:rofl:

I don't really have to discredit him winning the award. I am still waiting for someone to show me one reason why he should have won it.

I didn't bring up ACORN. I simply responded to a post about it. Feel free to show me where I fabricated or exaggerated anything about it.

It is kinda funny to me that you keep mentioning "fair and balanced" in many of your posts because that is the last thing you are.

That is what I though...no real answers and nothing to back up any of the garbage that falls out of your mouth onto the keyboard. Enjoy your day and that little red dot under your post counter, lefty.

You're bitching about us being off topic and you post a picture of your M5?

FYI, I'm from New England and I'm against O, while my roommate from ALABAMA is a full fledged supporter.

Its not fair and balanced, its a forum, and what I asked was people's opinions! jeez.

I love adding people to my ignore list.

I other words, non-Obama bashers need not post, right....;)

Yeah I get it.....

BTW, I'm glad that you admit that these posts are not "fair and balanced". Your buddy seems to be in denial....

Here is another great thing about ACORN.

Sometimes the group's tactics are confrontational, veering into civil disobedience. For instance, in the late 1980s, ACORN activists in a number of cities, including Chicago, seized abandoned houses and encouraged "squatting" by homeless people, in an attempt to force local governments to salvage abandoned properties and convert them into low-income housing. The targets of ACORN's protests sometimes describe the activists as intractable or even aggressive.

Of course I would be upset if Republicans were doing this. If this is a group that you feel is worthy of your support or our Presidents, then I am baffled.

FactCheck.org: ACORN Accusations

People on both sides have been acused. People on both sides have been convicted.

As for seizing abandoned properties; again, I don't see what the beef is. The property was abandoned, deteriorating, not benefiting anyone, so people squatted.

And BTW, squatting is not in and of itself illegal.

Again, my point is that ACORN does not support republican positions, so people try to demonize them by making all these claims tha they are immoral, criminal, and taking federal money. All that other BS that can be said of replublican organizations too. But somehow it is worse because ACORN does it.

The things I brought up about ACORN are not made up, exaggerated or false claims. They are some of the reasons that I do not agree with ACORN. You asked this question;

You guys seem to be so afraid of ACORN - the latest right-wing boogyman. Why?

I answered your question with a handful of legitimate reasons why I do not personally agree with them.

Now you are standing up for squatters??? I am co-owner of an investment property where many older homes are being torn down to make room for new offices. We are sitting on this property due to the economy right now. I would be more than pissed off if I found out that someone was "squatting" in this vacant, run down house after I have worked hard to be part of it.

I Don't know what else to say except I find it amusing that you can't even take off the blinders for one minute to admit that some of these things are pretty sketchy at best.
