He's going to have more now (votes at least, if not true supporters) that Biden has the nomination. I weep for the future. Maybe THIS will teach the Democrats. I bet Bernie gets all the blame for this loss too.

They had such a large pool of candidates. Any one of them would have been a better choice.

I'm with Quicksilver, I am still baffled that Trump won. I was shocked so many people were hoodwinked or gave no thought before they drank the Kool-aid.

I think Biden's choice for running mate could be the difference in winning and losing the election.

My understanding is that in the last election a significant number of Bernie's supporters didn't vote at all or voted for Trump. Bernie has already endorsed Biden and saying to his supporters to vote vote for Biden and that the focus must be on booting Trump. After 3+ years of Trump one would think tthe majority will vote for Biden. However, based on the last election we certainly could have Trump for another 4 years.

I keep having to remind myself that Trump did not win the popular vote even though Hillary had a lot of baggage and the 30,000 email delete question. There were some close calls in some of the swing states. Trump also has to convince his supporters that he did better job handling COVID than any other country. Many have either had the virus or lost a friend or family member. Pushing the opening is going to hurt him in areas that have renewed problems with the virus. The economy and unemployment will still be in terrible shape at election time. It's makes for a much tougher hill to climb.

That said, he did it once, OMG no!

What so hard to figure out? Look at his supporters. Anything in common? If you don't see it you must be "Color Blind".

Oh I see it. It's the irony of it all that makes me laugh. Now more than ever.

Look for Trump to delay the election if he can't steal it. If he loses will he leave the white house gracefully? I think not.

I know Biden isn’t in good shape, but anyone, I mean literally anyone with a decent character is a better choice than the orange bang.

bcredliner 06-18-2020 05:13 PM

:iagree: Anyone but Trump. And on he goes to Tulsa for the Covd-19 virus rally. My bet is that no one wearing a mask will be on camera.

Biden's polling very well in Texas so you guys might get a big boost to your goal.

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is such a thing as a politician with good character. I used to be very optimistic about America and that our politicians wanted to serve the people. Now, I'm not even certain the people have the capacity/pride to take care of themselves anymore. Personal responsibility has been replaced with group think and social media fame.

I've now gotten to the point where I just want a couple of acres, or more, 20 - 30 miles outside of the city with our house and a workshop. Leave the rest of society to their own devices. I've lived in major cities over much of the US my whole life and the older I get, the more I find I'm over it.

Bit of a "rant," but orange man, black man, white man, woman, whatever... Politicians seem to all be the same but disguise it with the facade of an "us vs them" struggle. And we're letting them get away with it.

Edit: on a positive note though, the Supreme Court has pleasantly surprised me this week.

There’s hope for us yet. He can’t do too much damage if it’s only a 4 year term. Give America a chance to get back on the right path. Mend the broken relationships with our allies and maintain control over Putin’s influence on the world stage.

Get our focus back to the economy and spread the wealth over a wider part of the population.

The selfish 80s and the booming 90s helped us cement our super power foundation. Let’s give the smart people a chance to retool the domestic and foreign policies.

Social media needs to take a step back. Let the real work get done behind the scenes and stop letting empty, grandiose gestures dominate the front pages.

It’s a farce what he’s done these last few years and how he’s getting away with all of it.

He’s a showboat persona full of bullshit and nothing else. People less informed gobbles up every fantasy lucky charm he plasters in front of them.

Trump and company continue to rape and destroy all available resources mother America produces while the dangerously few middle class population suffers.
