Sorry Jules, I don't know where my last post went but it appears that I am also guilty of judging too quickly. Please don't take offence. It was not meant to be patronising rather a shot at those who prefer the tiles, coffee machines, and glamourous sales people who follow the sales book and not the customers line of questions.
I am only too happy to share my currently limited X5d knowledge.
So far my car has several faults that have been with the car for a few years including dealer visits. Just remember, a dealer stamp just means that it went there for a service. They may not have fixed everything that was required because the customer may have baulked at the repair quote. Unfortunately there are a number of X5s in Melbourne in substandard condition due to the cost of repairs quoted by some dealers. These cars can get expensive to bring back into good condition when left for too long.
Cheers Daniel.
