Would anyone know of a place to buy these in Aus? plenty of overseas places but will take forever to get them.

Im in Perth - I have fitted 20" wheels to my X5, have ordered some wheel arches so I need the spacers to extend the wheels out to the edge of the arches.

Turner Motorsport | BMW Wheels - Genuine & Performance US company I know but they make a spacer you could trust, however If I were you I would check your state roads authority to make sure of their legality and also your insurance company. My understanding is they are illegal in all states of Aus, and I'll guarantee your insurance company won't have a bar of them, your call. What width wheels are you running to need spacers?

wheels are 20" with 10.5 on rear and 9.5 front - Im just looking at spacers for a wider stance and looks - have ordered arches from BMW so will wait for them before I decide on spacer width. Not sure if it is illegal but I do know the insurance companies dont like it. Have seen a similar vehicle with the same wheels and arches fitted but without spacers it looks a bit odd. Have checked out a few of the spacer suppliers on ebay etc and although they are reasonably expensive and also quite a bit of price difference between them its much better than a quote I got from a local suspension business to supply the same thing. Will post some pics when I complete the project.
Cheers

Just interested what your paying for your flares as BMW quoted me $450Aud each for 4.8is flares where you can buy Gen' BMW Special Edition ones for $300Aud for the full set plus freight from OS, also my wheels are only 1/2 inch wider than yours and they look fine but lowering it does make it look wider, the 4.8is has your setup. Just some thoughts .

10.5 have a more aggressive offest than the std 11" wheels to make up for the width.

I would make sure you get the right tyres first and then if its no good get some H+R spacers.

I had them on my previous e46 M3 and they where fine

Flares were $320 for the full set from BMW, delivery is about 3 weeks - Im fairly sure you just rivet them on over the existing ones, they arent the ones that go all the way over and into the side steps
