Fuel type in your Australian BMW
I was using 98ron but I don't the advantage is there and my 2001 X5 purrs just fine on the E91+ from BP (I only use BP) Let me know what you use... On my X5 using 91+ fuel it costs me $0.263 per km to drive. With 98, its $0.291 per km. Its a $672 different per year for me...I do about 24,000 kms per year.

Yeah, you forgot diesel on your poll. And given the choice, my first preference is the Vortex Diesel from Caltex.
But my weekend car (MX5 SP), I use 98 octane fuel only. First preference is the Shell V-Power, followed by BP Ultimate. I avoid ethanol mix fuels at all cost (false economy).
