Have you taken the diesel for a drive , I think you would be surprised at the performance .

No, not yet! In fact, I've only sat in a 4.8is and started it up at the dealer, purely to get the 'nod' from the girlfriend that it would be a 'suitable' vehicle.

I must admit, the diesel seems to be the smarter decision on paper - and with a tune I am sure it would be quick enough for the daily commute.

But a massive part of me just wants to get that V8 with an x-pipe and some QTP cutouts welded in so that I can scare old ladies and small children.
