I hope it's not the key, $165 is a lot of money for a key.

I suspect it's the X5 itself (which could be even more costly) since the keys work fine after a charge in my 330 but then go "dead"...

I thought about it but didn't because the keys work fine when they've been charged in my other car. Their batteries just aren't being charged by the X5. I wonder if there's a fuse specific to that...
