I'm about to embark in installing the Pioneer Avic-Z2 into my 04 X5. It's the non DSP business head unit.

Big question is, can connect the head unit straight into the stock amp via a harness? ...

Thanks for the info! I actually checked the bulbs and the contacts were hot! I'm going to take it back to the dealer in a few days and I'll definitely have them replace it. I'll let you know how...

On my 2004 x5 3.0 I keep getting "Check Brake Lights" on my OBC but when I look them it looks like they're all working (right, left, and upper). It also says check Rear Lights too...
