Bluetooth found!

My wife has been complaining about not having bluetooth for 3 years driving her 2007 X3. So I Google away trying to find the best solution, then come to find that the premium package (with roadside...

Squeeky driver's seat

2009 35d -- 9000 miles and already a squeeky driver's seat. Sounds like an old mattress. Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it?

That's why I didn't get the 4.8 -- made no sense to me when you get about the same performance out of the 35d. Averaging about 19-20 MPG with mostly city driving and 275 all-season tires. Should be...

20s with 45 profile. Looks better, works better, odometer still too fast (0.5%).

And by the way, compared to my stock 19" RFTs, my 20s with 275s make for a MUCH more comfortable drive. So when...

20s? If so save yourself some time and do 214s. I went down this road. Perfect balance between sporty, beefy and clean look, IMO. Much discussion on this here if you do a search.

I have 275/45-20 all around on 214s. The 45 profile makes the 20s a bit more forgiving with respect to pot holes etc. Odometer is almost exact (still shows faster than actual speed) with these 2%...

On the 35d only a lady's arm can do it.... I had my assistant do it and she could barely get it done despite her long fingers and skinny arms -- too damn tight.

For SoCal owners:
$930 out the door for complete OEM install at Santa Monica BMW - and they did a nice job, including painting the muffler. South Bay quoted me $2100(!!), Beverly Hills $1300.

I"d love to hear one argument for the MDX over an X5d... not withstanding the price. I've driven the current RDX a few times, which doesn't come close even to my wife's X3. Not a driver's car...

I'm also in SoCal and have the 35d. Probably hitting the snow 6-8 times a season. I opted for 214 rims with slightly over-sized 275/45-20. I LOVE how it looks and drives, and this will be just great...

I wanted style 177 but could not find replicas and went with style 214. 227s are very nice, but I would call them "prettier" than the 214s. If you're going for more of an "M-look" then 227s, if...
