I have a 2005 X5 3.0 and my airbag light has come one and will not turn off.

How can I know if it is an passenger occupancy sensor, or if it just needs to be reset?

So I got busy and forgot to plug the battery...

So I got busy and forgot to plug the battery charger into my truck last and miraculously it was fine this morning...now I'm really stumped. Are the peristaltic draw problems intermittent usually?
