Update.. so i guess i had a misconnection...
Update.. so i guess i had a misconnection somewhere, but now I was able to get to the menu jsut fine. I can get av1, av2 and av3 working with a dvd player just fine, but the rear backup camera...

sorry Matrix were you talking about the connection that the can wires lplug into the LCD? that connector is rectangular. Similar to the end that plugs into the QSID unit but black.

Yes this is for the new Idrive. Not sure which connection your talking about. I know it has a round connector for the LCD. the connections to the can areas are 4 wires. can high, los ground and acc....
