There is an airbag there but that cover is held...

There is an airbag there but that cover is held by a torx screw under that little plastic cover and then it pops right off.

Check the sunroof drain hose that goes through the a pillar. The hose sometimes cracks or falls off the plug completely. It's super simple to remove the cover and inspect it. I had the same problem...

Installation of the Aux is a breeze! the radio comes out with one screw (non nav), and from there there is plenty of access to route the cable. It took me about 15 min to do it.
