Power steering and engine oil leaks

So I went to replace the airbags under the recall, when they inspected my car they recommend to replace pwr steering pump and oil pan seal to the tune of around $4000, I have no puddles or any leaks...

I'm in the market again for another X5 and I found one 2013 35i with M package, 62k miles with warranty left until 75K from an original owner.
We settled at $19500
I had an 01 4.4 X5 and sold it...

That is one of the reasons I got rid of it I have another SUV which is more reliable and a little better with gas......but yes it'll never drive like the x5......I was thinking a jetta sportwagen tdi...

Now that I remember the last time they were changed by an indy shop....who knows what pads...

CV boot help

Anyone in the San Diego area done this? Not sure if I want to do it or take it to the indy. I do a lot of my own maintenance but don't know if I should tackle this one in my garage with my short...
