The BMW throttle delay (from standstill) makes me do the same thing. When pulling out into moving traffic I have to apply a decent amount of throttle to overcome the 0.5 sec lag to get it started...

This turned out to be a non issue for me. 10 mins...

This turned out to be a non issue for me. 10 mins with mothers aluminum polish and rust spots were gone.

I have the same rust spots on my running boards....

I have the same rust spots on my running boards. I did a search and thought it was due to brake dust rusting. I will try specialized cleaning products soon.

I never imagined it would be...
