Tried the dvd in motion compatability with my dcan cable on my note3 this morning and seems to work. Not yet pulled the trigger to buy the add on but kind of confirms you don't need the new adapter...

Just tried the free version and not sure if it's my Bluetooth dongle but connection isn't solid. Says connection is sufficient one min then insufficient the next.
