Had the same issue. The sunroof has drains that go into a hose that runs through the A Pillar down and out the bottom of the vehicle. Over time these hoses get old and sag and water doesn't drain...

I used that guy and it was well worth the $50 for him to repair the key, he says in most cases it's NOT the battery.
