the techs at bmw couldnt have come up a with more difficult dip stick to read. what a joke! couldnt they have at least used a constrasting color or even just a plain old metal one ? a grade...

my 01 x5 3.0l is going thru a quart oil approx every 1000-1500 mi. there is no oil leak i can see. any thing to check? i was hoping not to have to rehab with rings ,seals and bearings. roadkingdoc...
