Some brands of that stuff will strip paint !!!

Just fitted Dunlop winter RF to my X6, had to buy a 2nd set of rims as i also run 20's, but can only get 19's in winter RF.

255's all...

BMW said they could source them through their Parts network from Germany now, but it would work out to £460 per tyre !!!!, that's silly money.

As said, i think i should be able to source them...

Yes, but at least with a RF, i could limp off of a motorway to some kind of civilisation Hotel or rest point, rather than if an actual blow out, i think i would be left stranded wherever until help...

Most or all dealers in the UK buy from a wholesaler, and if the whole saler don't stock them, then they can't be got.

I've found the tyres on a US site or two, and they seem to be around $500 !!,...

BMW UK are now showing the range of 21" wheels available for retrofit to the X6.

I got a price for a set today, but was told, that they are only to be sold with the wheel arch extension kit....

I had the exact same type of tow bar on my last X5 (Old shape) and it was great for towing the GT3 i had then, and was good for 100clicks too...
It has the same locking system too, which is great.
