My Brother wants to borrow my winter wheels/tyres form my X6. (19's type 232)
He has new shape X5, will they fit, are they the same offsets ?

BMW said they could source them through their Parts network from Germany now, but it would work out to £460 per tyre !!!!, that's silly money.
As said, i think i should be able to source them...

However, i'm not worried about when the car is near home, but moreso the 750mile drive to the Alps on 21st Dec, the hard shoulder on the french autoroutes can be very lonely...

Most or all dealers in the UK buy from a wholesaler, and if the whole saler don't stock them, then they can't be got.
I've found the tyres on a US site or two, and they seem to be around $500 !!,...

21" only with Wheel arch extensions
BMW UK are now showing the range of 21" wheels available for retrofit to the X6.
I got a price for a set today, but was told, that they are only to be sold with the wheel arch extension kit....

Been mapped, and need some winter tyres.
Had my 3.5d mapped last week, and wow :wow:
The things feels like it's gained another 2 turbos, and pulls like crazy, a lot more eager at all revs.
Did it mainly to improve MPG, but must...

My issue is that the battery on the I-pod runs down if it stays conected when the car is not being used, as there is always a 'OK to Disconnect' sign on its screen.

I had the exact same type of tow bar on my last...
I had the exact same type of tow bar on my last X5 (Old shape) and it was great for towing the GT3 i had then, and was good for 100clicks too...
It has the same locking system too, which is great.
