Just when I think I make progress...
Read a few more posts on another board as well as some articles and there might be a possibility that the cables i am trying to plug into the changer in the back are actually phone connections?!?! ...

Found one issue
Well, didnt have the coax going from the changer to the amp. I took the changer and plugged it in up front where the Nak was and it works. Looks like the coax cable that was plugged into the nak is...

Hmmm...I wonder if the changer is dead
I disconnected the nakamichi completly and removed it from the vehicle. I plugged the coax cable and 3 pin cable into the other changer but the changer doesnt work. Wonder if I bought a bum...

Hello all. Just wanted to share my first experiences with my "new to me" 2001 X5 4.4
This is my 4th BMW. I have previously owned a 93 318i 5spd, an 87 535is auto and a 90 535i 5spd (still have)....
