The AC went out while we were on the road on a long trip. I,m thinking, as long as the aux fan is spinning, there is a sensor that tells the pressure switch (3wire) to go......

Did it fix the prob? They want a grand to do a job that will take half an hour with a part that is under $200. They quoted me $850 for the part!!!

Auxiliary fan

I had my mechanic tell me my AC doesn't work because my auxiliary fan is not functioning. Question is.....is there a sensor in the fan that disengages the AC compressor when the fan is not...

DSC inactive!!!

I have an 02 X5, and the last couple of days out of nowhere the engine will shut off, and the DCS inactive light will show up on my message board. WTF???
I can turn the key off, and restart it, but...

Clutch bearing

My 02 X5 3.0 has a really loud squealing while sitting out of gear. If I barely touch the clutch, it goes away. Does the bearing need to be replaced, or can it be lubricated? :dunno:

Just replaced ny resoviore on 2002 X5 with new sensor. Coolant is full, but the pretty girl that she is still tells me to check coolant level. Anyone with any ideas could possibly be my hero.:wow:
