It does the exact same with no disc in as it does with a disc in, my screen reverts back to the standard blue with the black lettering when I have the Mk 4 plugged in. I've tried emailing VDO...

I have a mk4 nav that keeps reseting itself after around 13 seconds, I've searched the forum and cant find anyone else who has had the same problem, the light on the nav comes on, it spins the disc,...

I know that now, what I'm saying is the DVD...

I know that now, what I'm saying is the DVD player part may be of use in other units ie remove the deck from inside this unit(which is brand new) and sell it on to someone with a faulty laser or deck...

Thanks for your help guys, don't want to go down the dispute road, he did state check before bidding no refunds etc so it is my fault, does'nt help knowing he knew it was no good but sold it...
