Right now I have installed an AUX jack and it works great. But, I want Sirius. I thought of getting the Sirius system from Circle BMW and installing it. With the Sirius and my AUX jack both work?

I have done the with my iPod and it works fine. So, I am thinking it must be my Sirius unit. It is the Starmate by Sirius, it runs 2.0 Sirius software. I am going to wait till the winter...

I have the BMW unit installed after I got my 2004 X3, I don't have any problems when using my iPod or anything. My Sirius unit is installed on the dash and plugged into the aux jack.

It worked great. I installed the AUX jack in the compartment on the dash. It wasn't hard at all. The best part is that everything can fit in there and close up and you can't see anything. Works...

Where is AUX input?

I have a 2004 X3, where are the AUX inputs located? On the mid unit? Or doesn't the 2004 have the AUX input, so I will have to install one?
