Even better... just press and hold the lock...

Even better... just press and hold the lock button (BMW Emblem) on your remote and it'll do the same, winds up the windows and closes sunroof.:thumbup:

My cig lighter plug does turn off, it's only ON in "IGN ON" position (+12V is always ON but it is neagatively swiched). I fitted a DVD screen at the back and used the accesories power from the head...

Aussie spec X5 dont come with running boards as standard, I had to ticK that option :(. Also, if you push the volume knob, it'll turn on your cd/radio for about half an hour before it swiches off...
