I had this happen to my 04 E53 and it was real...

I had this happen to my 04 E53 and it was real intermittent.
Local dealership couldn't diagnose the problem ... said there were no codes.
The battery was from Batteries Plus and load tested fine,...

I re-checked all of the front and rear fuses with the X5 running and they all show 14V on my DMM.

I used my DMM to check the power and grounds:
rear outlers = 14V and 1 ohm to ground
