This is the first car I've driven with a backup camera and the screen is pitch black at night time.

What do you mean? I ordered the car without rear climate, so I assume it had no tint on any of the windows, that's why I got 15% all around. The factor rear climate is around 35%.

yeah, I should mention that the best deal I could get was 2250 over invoice on the X5, but I live in an area where they are selling at or close to MSRP. I had to contact 6 dealers to get this price....

I ordered without the rear climate and got 15% FormulaOne Pinnacle installed prior to delivery. My old X5 had the factory tint rears and I could never find a film for the fronts that matched...

I like the way they look, but didn't get them for 2 main reasons.

1 - small SUV's like the X5 really don't need a step to get in/out of, it just seems to make the car harder to get in/out of.

No idea if it's out yet, but I think the 2008 cars being delivered are probably sold orders, I know I ordered off of an 07 option list.

We had to replace our E53 as well, so just went ahead and got the 4.8. I'm sure it will last another 5 years and hopefully by then there will be more diesel SUV options.

Not sure about that, I received my build sheet on the 14th, with a status of 112. However, to my knowledge 08 production hasn't started yet, so I think it's probably still in 112.
