Rebuilt transmission, now even more problems!

So at 90k miles, my tranny went out on the 2003 X5 4.4i. :( I brought it the dealer, and they quoted me $8,500!
So I took it to GIBRALTAR TRANSMISSIONS in Queens. I paid $4,200 to have it rebuilt...

Okay, thanks! By the way, this car was never really driven "hard". It's probably hit 4-5k rpm around 5 times in its whole life. It is also a one owner car, purchased brand new in 2003.

Not bad.. In the future, I think the i3 and i8 will take after the 3-series and 8-series. The i3, like the 3-series will be dime a dozen while the i8 will be more exotic and sporty much like the old...
