Hi Jochen thanks for the reply i have had a look on the unit and it has a number with the letter C in the middle next to the world display does this mean i have the colour unit and if so does that...

I have sent the unit back to the seller and he said it worked perfectly in his 3 Series BMW ( not sure which model ) would this be the case if it was coded for mono
