I do, but what happens when you put your foot on the gas petal is that it drips off your shoe or boot and under that area that the mats don't cover.

Well I can somewhat agree with the statement that they get louder the colder it gets, however they are really loud. I have 19K on mine and I will be replacing them soon due to ware and noise.:iagree:

For the most part you should be fine as long as you stay away from the electronics/electrical items. I am sure the engineers understood that there would be moisture under the hood.
