Nope, its a whole unit near the fuel tank.
I would look in fuel system but BMW could put it anywhere. Call the dealer they will know what your talking about when you ask a price for the DMTL pump.

the brakes are hot so they will need to take it out and do some braking then get it up on a hoist and check it...Hope you get it...
