I've been offered a good deal on some 19" rims/tires from a Range Rover Sport and wanted to see if the X5's lug bolts could be used to mount them. Unfortunately I have some aftermarket "tuner" style...

I've had no problem with having 17's on mine (2001).

I'd say you are good to go if the caliper change did not happen until the 2005 model year.

I have a Z3 w/ a 2.5 with the Dinan Stage 2 software plus a AFE Pro Dry S CIA. There is no issue...I think the tech was interested in you buying K&N from him...I would not worry about it.
