If the only action the tech took was to clear adaptations and the problem disappeared, then it was either clearing adaptations, or the problem just disappeared between the time the tech drove it to...

Software that reads data and then "adapts" could MOST CERTAINLY cause a problem. Software is not an all knowing God that can't be compromised by the inputs it receives and the resulting computations....

DROVE 2 CYCLES 15 MILES PROBLEM CORRECTED

So far so good, about 400 miles.

GREAT Dealer and BMWNA experience!
